InnoPower Summit Brings Business Owners Face to Face with Experts
A recent panel discussion hosted by InnoPower was a chance for small business owners and entrepreneurs to connect with civic and business leaders to learn how to grow and scale.
Emil Ekiyor, the Founder of InnoPower LLC, said the Wealth, Wisdom, and Networking Summit was an opportunity to “change the narrative around opportunity.” He says a lot of work has been done in Indiana recently to prepare for the next decade of tech innovation. “We really believe the next 10 years in the state of Indiana is going to be incredible.”
Ekiyor says business and civic leaders have been making decisions that will soon pay off across Indiana, and he says he wants to prepare small business owners and give them a chance to participate in that growth.
According to Ekiyor, the first step is properly educating entrepreneurs on the available opportunities. Ekiyor says focusing on how to help business owners grow their businesses and make more money is key to the future. “This is a time of opportunity.”
Along with Senator Todd Young, Ivory Salmon was a guest speaker on the panel. Salmon is the Vice President of Business Banking with KeyBank. She said she wants to focus on how wealth is passed down in families and how it can be used to create a legacy by successful business owners.
Salmon also touted the panel discussion for topics like getting small business owners the tools and resources they need to succeed. “People don’t know where to start.” She says aligning with the right resources will help entrepreneurs take advantage of upcoming opportunities in Indiana.
