Dry and cooler Saturday, wet and breezy Sunday | Mar. 21, 2025
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After enjoying a more nice day to end the workweek, we’ll contend with a split weekend in relation to active weather. Temperatures are also set to be near to below normal in this forecast as we approach the final week of March next week.
Friday night: We’ll remain breezy into tonight with the chance for spotty to scattered showers. The best chance for rain will be north of interstate 70. Lows look to fall into the low 40s. Wind gusts will be up to 20-30 MPH at times.

Saturday: More abundant sunshine will greet our Saturday, but winds will shift back to come out of the northwest. This will cause temperatures to struggle getting out of the the 40s in spots. We’ll also be breezy for a good chunk of the day with gusts 20-30 MPH.

Sunday: After a dry Saturday, wet weather returns starting early Sunday morning. Widespread rain (some possibly heavy) looks to slide in closer to sunrise and carry into the afternoon hours. It is not impossible for there to be a brief wintry mix early Sunday morning mainly north of Indy. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but we are not expecting severe weather. Rain will gradually move out by Sunday night.

Highs are set to rise into the mid to upper 50s with a breezy wind out of the south that will gust to 20-30 MPH.

7-Day Forecast: Temperatures shift back down into the low 50s by next Monday. It won’t take long before we see highs rise into the mid 50s Tuesday through Thursday. Additional rain chances are in play next week too.
