INDIANPOLIS (WISH) — It was another busy week in high school sports in central Indiana.

The boys basketball state tournament heads into semi-state weekend. The show starts with highlights and recaps from regional championships.

In girls basketball, Hamilton Southeastern’s Maya Makalusky was named Indiana Miss Basketball after scoring 22 points per game and leading HSE to a 27-1 record and a regional championship. Makalusky will be headed to Bloomington to play for IU.

Plus, 4A girls basketball state champion Lawrence North head coach Stephen Thomas joins the show for a coaches corner conversation. He was also joined by seniors Kya Hurt and Jamaya Thomas.

The girls gymnastics season came to a close, with Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger winning the state title.

And, an Indianapolis native is already making history with the Indy Eleven.
