NEW YORK (WISH) — The NBA announced on Friday night that it has fined three players as a result of Thursday night’s on-court altercation that happened between the Pacers and Nets.

Pacers center Myles Turner and Nets forward Trendon Watford were each fined $35,000 for their involvement in the fourth quarter altercation.

Meanwhile, Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard was also fined $20,000 “for his role in initiating the altercation,” according to a press release.

Here is how the press release described the altercation:

“The altercation was initiated by Nembhard and Watford and escalated when Watford delivered a right forearm to the chest region of Nembhard. Following that action, Turner escalated the altercation further by shoving Watford.”

Watford ultimately received two technical fouls and was ejected from the game. Turner and Nembhard were each handed a technical foul as well.

The altercation took place with around 4:48 left in regulation during Thursday’s game.

The Pacers would go on to beat the Nets 105-99 in overtime.
