VeeKay fills last remaining full-time 2025 IndyCar seat
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The full-time driver lineup for the upcoming NTT IndyCar Series season is now complete.
Dale Coyne Racing has announced that Rinus VeeKay will drive the No. 18 for the full 2025 season.
The No. 18 seat was the final driver opening left to be filled prior to the opener.
VeeKay spent the last five years at Ed Carpenter Racing. He’s always shown a lot of speed during the Month of May on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval. In fact, he’s never started worse than seventh in the Indy 500. He also has three top-10 finishes in his five Indy 500 starts.
VeeKay will be teammates with IndyCar rookie Jacob Abel.
