IndyCar season kicks off with flag-raising ceremony at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Eighty-eight days ahead of the Indianapolis 500, racing fans have been celebrating the start of the IndyCar racing season.
Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull on Tuesday raised the IndyCar Series flag over the Pagoda at Indianapolis Motor Speedway to kick things off.
The first race of the season will be the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Florida, on Sunday.
The Indianapolis 500 is on May 25.
