Tickets live for AES Indy 500 Festival Parade
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s time to race and reserve your seat for an Indianapolis racing tradition! Tickets are officially on sale for the 2025 AES 500 Festival Parade.
The 500 Festival made the announcement Tuesday.
Parade festivities will start in downtown Indianapolis at 11:45 a.m. May 24, with the parade stepping off at noon.
The event will show off “spectacular floats, giant balloons, marching bands from across the nation, celebrities, local heroes, and the 33 INDYCAR drivers gearing up for the Indy 500 the next day.”
“The AES 500 Festival Parade is one of the 500 Festival’s founding events and one of the nation’s largest and most respected parades,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the 500 Festival. “We’re excited to celebrate how this iconic event brings Hoosiers together, highlighting the sense of community that ‘Connected Through May’ is all about.”
The festival parade will serve as the precursor for the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Tickets to reserve your spot along the parade route start out at $25 excluding fees. Festival leaders say all proceeds will help support their free health, education, and fitness programs of Indiana youth.
