Indiana Fever’s Lexie Hull to raise flag at IMS to kick off IndyCar season
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Start your engines!
Indiana Fever guard Lexie Hull will be raising the NTT IndyCar Series flag above the Pagoda at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Fever guard will join Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar President Doug Boles.
The annual ceremony will mark the start of the IndyCar season. The flag-raising was being touted as an important milestone in the countdown to the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
The first IndyCar race of 2025 will be the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2 on the streets of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida.
Hull was drafted with the No. 6 pick in the 2022 WNBA draft by the Fever. Hull is one of four players in WNBA history to shoot at least 70% from three-point range in a five-game span.
