Halftime: Purdue settling in against High Point

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WISH) — Both teams traded baskets early in the game, but Purdue settled in and built a halftime lead, as they enter the break with a 37-27 lead.

Purdue has been especially dominant on the offensive glass, rebounding over half of their misses (13 offensive rebounds on 22 missed shots).

High Point missed their last five three-point attempts of the half and scored just two points in the last four and a half minutes of the half.

Trey Kaufman-Renn got into foul trouble, picking up his second foul with over nine minutes left in the first half of a tied game. But, Purdue was able to able to build a ten point lead despite Kaufman-Renn playing just two minutes with his two fouls.
