NFL combine gets underway at Lucas Oil Stadium

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — NFL scouts have gathered in Indianapolis for one of the most highly anticipated events of the football season: the 2025 NFL scouting combine.

The exclusive, four-day event invites selected participants, and is a key opportunity for top draft-eligible college players to showcase their athleticism and football skills in front of all 32 NFL franchises.

While the combine is often seen from the perspective of fans and spectators, who sometimes get a chance to experience fan events and catch glimpses of some of the country’s best athletes in action, the experience the athletes go through is largely unseen.

WISH-TV contributor Emil Ekiyor is also a former Indianapolis Colts defensive end and has firsthand experience at the scouting combine.

Ekiyor on Wednesday talked on News 8 about the combine and shed light on what it’s really like to be a part of the event.

The combine will run from Thursday-Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Fans can sign up to attend events.
