(WISH) — A major event celebrating health and wellness happened last week in Anaheim, California.

Natural Products Expo West offered updates on the newest products and trends.

She says the trade show is the largest in the U.S. for natural and organic goods used in the healthy lifestyle industry, from health foods to ecofriendly skin care, and sustainable home products.

Gordon said Monday, “I’m here because myself, my family, the community and the patients that I serve, we know that we need convenience food. It would be great if we all could make foods from scratch, how ever that is not the reality of it in today’s society. And I want to know what is in the products that is hitting the shelves this year. Yesterday, they had what is called a fresh ideas market. Some of those vendors will be here the rest of the week, some of them are only here yesterday. So, I tried everything from granola, I tried puffed snacks, so I’ve seen a lot on social media, puffed quinoa-seasoned snacks, seasoned dark chocolates, dates and other foods hoping to decrease the sugar content but still give individuals that sweet kick that they are looking for.”
