INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — In the rapidly advancing world of artificial intelligence, discussions are frequently centered around its potential across various uses.

However, AI’s creative potential is expanding into new areas, including art.

Apple’s initiative, Image Playground, is at the forefront.

Steve Sweitzer of “Great Day TV” dropped by News 8’s “Midday” newscast to explore the new AI-powered app, demonstrating its capabilities.

Image Playground, a part of Apple’s broader AI push, is designed to allow users to generate playful, cartoon-like images by combining text, photos, and predefined concepts, Sweitzer, said. It is available on Apple’s newer Macs, iPads, and iPhones, Sweitzer said.
