Wooden sculptures designed to honor bravery of wounded military dogs

Exhibit features Wounded Warrior Dogs

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A traveling exhibit called Wounded Warrior Dogs honors military working dogs wounded in service through life-sized wooden sculptures.

An artist aims to recognize the invaluable contributions of these canine companions to military service personnel.

Steve Sweitzer from “Great Day TV” on Thursday’s “Midday” news talked about the exhibit, highlighting the bond between servicemen and their canine partners.

The sculptures were created to serve as tributes to the bravery and dedication of military dogs that have been injured while serving their country.

“Great Day TV” airs at 10 a.m. Saturdays on WISH-TV.
