Get your spring started the Indiana Flower + Patio Show

Indiana Flower and Patio Show in full bloom

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Flower and Patio Show is in full bloom at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The annual exhibition opened Friday and runs through Sunday at the West Pavilion and Expo Hall.

One of the most popular features of the Flower + Patio Show is the Plant Market, located at the entrance of West Pavilion. Visitors can stroll through the market and pick up everything from bulbs and plants to yard ornaments and gardening supplies.

“Absolutely everybody loves the plant market because this gets your spring started,” show manager Laura Groninger told News 8. “We’ve got bulbs and we’ve got plants you can purchase and take home — anything that you need.”

In addition to the Plant Market, the Flower + Patio Show includes displays of patios and sheds, a showcase of brilliant blooms in the Showcase Gardens, info sessions with gardening pros, and the Deck Wars deck building competition. Click here for a full list of show features.

“We’ve got some of the area’s best landscapers who have put their ‘A game’ on this year. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. You can come and see decks and patios and beautiful flowers, beautiful color, in all of our major feature gardens,” Groninger said. “If you’ve never been, this is the year to go. And if you have been, come back! You’re going to love it.”

Tickets are available online and at the door. Adult tickets are $15 at the door and $13 online. Kids age 12 and under get in free.

Parking is $10 per day, per car.
