INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Bryan Herta Autosport is on the move. The team is relocating its Indiana operations from Speedway to Brownsburg, establishing a global headquarters and bringing new jobs to the community.

The team, known for its two Indy 500 wins and seven consecutive Sports Car Championship winning seasons, plans to invest over $2.1 million to update a 38,000 square-foot facility at 474 Southpoint Circle in Brownsburg.

“Many of the top race teams in the U.S. across multiple disciplines call Brownsburg home, and we have already found the town to be an ideal location for the next chapter in our team’s story,” Bryan Herta said in a release. “As we continue to expand and take on new challenges, this location will allow us to continue to compete at the top levels of the sport and provide a turnkey solution for future growth and expansion.

The Brownsburg facility will be transformed into a state-of-the-art facility and serve as the base for Bryan Herta Autosport’s current NTT INDYCAR SERIES and IMSA programs. The team expects to be fully operational in Brownsburg by fall 2025.

“Motorsports is the heart of Brownsburg and we are confident that our vibrant, welcoming community will provide the ideal environment for their continued success and future growth,” Brownsburg Town Manager Deb Cook said in a release.

Bryan Herta Autosport, founded in 2009, is a leader in professional racing, earning multiple championships and victories in open-wheel and sports car competitions. As the official North American partner of Hyundai Motorsport, BHA has played a pivotal role in the success of the Hyundai N TCR program in IMSA’s Michelin Pilot Challenge series.
