ARLINGTON, Va. (WISH) — Nestlé USA voluntarily recalled certain Lean Cuisine and Stouffer’s frozen meals due to potential wood contamination, affecting products distributed across the U.S. between September and March, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration says.

The recall involves specific batches of Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli, Spinach Artichoke Ravioli, Lemon Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry, and Stouffer’s Party Size Chicken Lasagna.

Nestlé USA is acting after consumer reports, including one potential choking incident.

The company, the FDA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture are trying to find the source of the contamination.

Consumers were advised not to consume the affected products and return them to the retailer for a full refund or replacement.

The affected batch codes can be identified on the side of the packaging.

The company has provided a contact number, available weekdays, for further support: 800-681-1676.
